Shan Foods eCommerce Enablement

Enabling the world’s sixth largest spice company to adopt an Online Omni Channel Strategy was a very rewarding journey. We had to overcome the challenge of selling a $2 product online without a price increase while keeping the pick and pack, logistics and shipping costs extremely competitive. We built an end to end eCommerce enablement strategy which won accolades from the client. We deployed a robust Online Omnichannel footprint by developing a Direct to Customer Web Portal, Amazon Shop in Shop, Walmart Online and connecting Search and Social marketplaces to these properties.

Building Direct to Customer Channel

The Direct to Customer portal had the entire range of Shan Foods products segregated into geographic markets (USA & Canada). On Amazon the flexibility of selling products through FBA and FBM, also having a shop in shop with continuously improving the rating and ranking on marketplaces. This all resulted in discovery of Shan products by existing and new customers and trial, growing its online channel tremendously.
